Quinta do Carrascal

This very special and absoutely gorgeous quinta is situated in the lovliest of surrondings with 292 hectars of olive trees, lovely paths for trekking by bike, foot or horse and one really has the impression of peace and absolute freedom!

The bedrooms are very comfortable and so are the bathrooms. The social areas are welcoming and decorated in a pure, quite modern style.

The swimmingpool has a complete natural solution with no chemicals and gives you a great relaxation, especially combined with the spa just beside it.

An apetizing breakfast is provided and on commande, the restaurant is serving excellent Portuguese food, together with the wines from the owner´s wineyard situated south of Lisbon. They produce white, rosé and red wines from the best Portuguese grapes and you can also taste their sublime sparkling wine, "Espumante".

The quinta is located 40 min from Lisbon and 25 min from the beautiful coastline. You are also quite close to a lot of historical sites, fascinating caves, the salt mines of Rio Maior and a lot more.

Some breeders and trainers of the fantastic Lusitano horse are not far away either!
